Defibrillator at Big White Bay Shrove
We are proud to announce the installation of another defibrillator through our Community Fund initiative at the Big White Bay in Shrove.
This is an extremely busy area, particularly during the summer months, and having this defibrillator in place could make a vital difference in an emergency situation.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible:
Michael & Lochlann from Mulhall Contracts for fitting the defibrillator cabinet
Paddy Gillespie for working on a solar-powered battery system to help keep the cabinet warm
Local resident Terri Scott for kindly agreeing to regularly check and monitor the unit
Greencastle Coastguard for their ongoing support and commitment to covering the cost of battery and pad replacements
Special thanks to Charlie Cavanagh for pulling everything together and helping make this possible.
